I‘ve been a vocal critic of Syracuse Stage’s Producing Artistic Director Timothy Bond over the past few years. Less than a month ago, I wrote: “Timothy Bond has not announced his resignation.” Well, dreams sometimes come true.

“I am writing to let you know that a transition in leadership will begin this summer at Syracuse Stage. First, our managing director Jeff Woodward has accepted the top management positon at the Dallas Theatre Center effective this July. Second, I have informed the Syracuse Stage Board of Trustees that in June of 2016 I will be stepping down as producing artistic director of Syracuse Stage and the Syracuse University Department of Drama.” – Timothy Bond
